Memory Care & Dementia Day Program
The Day Program is a supervised place for socialization & stimulation for those with mild to moderate dementia. Activities will be appropriate to your loved one’s cognitive abilities and staff will assist with their care needs while they are at the program.

The goal of the program is to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of your loved one and their caregivers. It also is to provide respite for caregivers to reduce burnout.
Program Details:
  • Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 3pm, $25 per day
  • Lunch & snacks are provided
  • Facilitated by a Recreational Therapist, PSW, and trained volunteers
  • Examples of activities: brain games, reminiscing activities, music therapy, art activities, therapy dogs, chair exercises
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Moderate dementia or cognitive impairment (open to those with Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, etc. with cognitive changes)
  • Requires assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), cueing for ADLs
  • Requires no more than one person assistance for transfers and mobility
  • We will provide assistance with toileting and will have a PSW on site to assist with toileting routines. We also have an RPN on site to assist with administering medications.
  • Responsive behaviours need to have a management plan
