Creative Healing
Creative Healing is not about making pretty pictures, but is rather about exploring our own psyche. Difficult personal feelings can often be messy, even ugly, and this is often portrayed in work made during a Creative Healing session. While some pieces created in the session may turn out as beautiful artwork, others may be highly meaningful to the client but not necessarily considered ” high art”. It is important to remember that artwork created in Creative Healing sessions is just that – a representation of the work you have done with the session therapist – and not a finished piece as made in an art class.
Playing With Colours
Join this informal group every Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon as our volunteer artist guides you into discovering a passion for art that you never knew you had! Experience and talent are of absolutely no concern, but wanting to come out to relax and enjoy the fun company of others is important!
Mens’ Group
Men’s Group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00 – 4:30pm for cards, darts, schule and pool. Drop by for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
